NATIONAL PRINCIPALS MONTH
October is National Principals Month. Please thank our principals for their leadership and support of our students and staff members!
Enrollment Option Program-Is it too early?
No, it is not too early to start thinking about the enrollment option program for the 2018-2019 school year. The Plattsmouth Community School District is accepting enrollment option applications from families that are interested in a joining a district that is on the cutting edge with support for our students.

We have an early childhood center/Head Start program that supports students from birth to age 4. Our elementary supports students in grades K-4, middle school includes grades 5-8, and our high school includes students in grades 9-12.áIn addition to teachers, support staff, administrators, and Board members that are committed to providing high quality core curriculum learning opportunities for our students, we have the following services available.

1. Three full-time school social workers
2. Nurses or a health aide in every building
3. Two full-time high ability learner facilitators/coaches
4. A full-time instructional facilitator/coach
5. Approximately 50 extra-curricular activities in middle school and high school
6. Outdoor classrooms
7. High school wall-to-wall career academies for EVERY student

If you are interested in having your children join our school community, click HERE, download and complete the enrollment option application, and submit it to rhasty@pcsd.org or drop it off at the PCS Administration Center at 1912 Old Hwy. in Plattsmouth.

Perfect Attendance Program at PCS
In cooperation with Plattsmouth Scooter's Coffee, we are starting a perfect attendance program for students and staff members at PCS. Every month during the school year, an elementary student, a middle school student, a high school student, a support staff member, and a certified staff member will be randomly selected from each of the identified groups. The selected individuals will receive a free small drink coupon to the Plattsmouth Scooter's.

For the month of August, the following individuals were randomly selected to receive a free small drink from Scooter's for their perfect attendance at PCS.
