"Thumbs up to the new food choices and variety. My daughter is very happy about having lemonade, ice tea, and water as choices, since it's hard for the kids to get hydrated with the busy days." Jody Graskowiak-Parent

COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS-WHAT IS NEXT FOR YOU?
Plattsmouth Community School Districtís Adult Education program is set to begin new College and Career Readiness programs. Students will learn about job search techniques and workplace skills, as well as preparation for post-secondary education. Students will be encouraged to look past GED and get ready for trade school or college courses.
The new courses will be integrated into students' Adult Basic Education, GED or English Language classes. Students will receive a handbook, direct instruction from teachers and online study. As with all the programís courses, students have a learning plan tailored to their own needs.
Classes last two and one-half hours and begin at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Come to the Plattsmouth Academic Curriculum and Equipment (PACE) Complex (the old John Deere Building) across from the west entrance of the High School, 111720 S. 22nd St.
New students may begin at any time. Adults may attend just to polish up their basic math and writing skills, even if they finished high school. English Language learners are always welcome.
For information about College and Career Readiness, GED, Adult Basic Education, or English Language classes, please call Tallie VanWesten, program director, at 402-296-3174 Ext. 2315.
